Welcome friend,
Here’s my story in a nutshell. I am a below-the-knee amputee, a motivational speaker, the C.O.O. of Regenerative Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, a former professional chef, and an avid gardener. I grew up the youngest of eight and have faced and overcome many challenges in life. By the time I was thirty-three, I had lost my grandparents, parents, and two siblings and then rolled into twenty-one foot/ankle surgeries ending with an amputation on December 1, 2016. In a little over one year after being fitted with my prosthesis, I was walking, running, swimming, and running a 5K. In January 2020, I was diagnosed with dysautonomia P.O.T.S., Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. And in May 2020, I managed the hospice care of my oldest brother, who passed away suddenly from pancreatic cancer. I have no regrets; through it all, I have learned to love life more daily. I feel like I have crossed the river, and now I am wading back into the water to pull as many people across as I can. My goal is to give one person hope each day!
Im so glad you’re here.

“I first met Colin as a wide eyed sophomore for the Maryland Women’s basketball team trying to find my way. I was immediately struck by his kindness and exuberance towards life. His energy was exactly what I needed to keep pushing forward through the demands of being a division I student-athlete. Hours into the conversation I learned about his story of loss and limb trials motivating his mission to spread positivity. Colin has continued to support me through my journey through medical school. I am confident I would not be the person I am today without Colin!”

“People make the mistake of thinking that Colin overcame his biggest adversitiy when he was forced to have his leg aputated. Overcoming adversitiy began for him as a child and his resiliency has been tested many times since. Trhough all of this, his positive outlook has never wavered and his love for, and reliability to, friends and family remain fiercely loyal.”
